The trial continued at 10:00AM with closing arguments by the prosecution. Then followed closing arguments of the defense. The prosecution had a brief period to rebut the defense closing arguments, then about 1:00PM the moderator, Elder Raymond Alden gaveled the proceedings to a close and the commissioners retired to a private room. The wait began and finally at 5:42PM, Elder Alden read words that Jane had worked and prayed for her entire ministry.
